Katy Perry has ditched her long time boyfriend Orlando Bloom, reported some US media on June 26, 2025.

The duo go their separate ways after months of rumors that have been swirling globally, that their romance was on the rocks. According to the rumors, the romance probably reached the point of no return after the popular music diva made her maiden journey to space in an all-female crew flight aboard a Jeff Bezos' spacecraft. The other crew members included Gayle King and Lauren Sánchez.

On returning back to earth, Katy Perry expected Orlando Bloom to be thrilled about her special flight, but he wasn't. As such, she is said to have gone ballistic, triggering a fierce verbal fight between them over his reaction to her flight. More specifically the Roar hitmaker reportedly lambasted the movie star of having not been impressed by her incredible flight, saying and we quote partly as follows.

"Imagine going to space, mother fu---ng space, and your partner isn't impressed"

Things are said to have gotten even worse after Orlando Bloom decided to attend Lauren Sánchez and Jeff Bezos wedding in Venice, Italy, without her, despite what she believes was his distaste of a flight by Jeff Bezos' spacecraft, and the fact that Lauren Sánchez and Bezos are closer to her than to him.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, neither Katy Perry nor Orlando Bloom has spoken about the breakup. Therefore, it is not known what exactly caused it.

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom began dating in early 2016, and got engaged in 2019, but no marriage followed. They share one child together.

Katy Perry was previously married to Russell Brand. She and movie star/comedian got married in India in October 2010. However, the marriage was short-lived, ending unceremoniously in December 2011 after just 14 months.
