Miss USA, R´Bonney Gabriel (28 ), won Miss Universe 2022 alias 71st Miss Universe pageant that was held at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA, on January 14, 2023 (local time).

R´Bonney Gabriel who is a model and fashion designer took the prestigious Miss Universe 2022 crown after defeating 83 other contestants from all over the world. First runner-up is Miss Venezuela, Amanda Dudamel, while second runner-up is Miss Dominican Republic, Andreina Martinez.

Miss Universe 2022 pageant was scheduled for late 2022. However, due to the FIFA World Cup that took place during the same time, it was postponed to 2023.
