Britney Spears' Dad Must Share Conservatorship Of Daughter, Rules Court

A court in Los Angeles, CA, USA, on February 11, 2021 ruled that Britney Spears’ dad Jamie Spears must share conservatorship of his daughter equally with the court’s appointed private conservatorship firm Bessemer Trust. That was reported by some media on February 12, 2021.

The court ruling follows a request to the court by Mr Jamie Spears (68), for increased powers over Britney Spears’ finances, despite his daughter’s wish to have his conservatorship terminated completely. The ruling is therefore a legal set back to Mr Jamie Spears who has been managing Britney Spears’ finances since 2008 after the famous diva suffered some mental issues.

The court ruling does not, however, imply the end of the bitter legal battle between the “protective” dad and the famous daughter.
