Malaika Mihambo excelled at Diamond League meeting in London on July 21, 2019. The current women's long jump European champion won the competition with a 7.02 meters jump.

The victory in London is a continuation of incredible performance by Malaika Mihambo, since she took the European crown in 2018. In Diamond League meeting in Rome on June 6, 2019 for instance, she won the competition with a staggering 7.07 meters jump.
