Katy Perry's "Dark Horse" Stole From Marcus Gray's "Joyful Noise", Rules Court

A Federal Court in Los Angeles, CA, on July 29, 2019 ruled that Katy Perry's 2013 popular song Dark Horse stole from a 2009 Christian rap song Joyful Noise by Marcus Gray and two other authors. That was reported by some US media on July 30, 2019.
Because of the ruling, the court will now have to make the next step of deciding how much Marcus Gray and his colleagues are entitled for the copyright infringement.
