Female Celebrity News September 22, 2024
Janet Jackson has contributed to elucidation of US ex-President Donald Trump's recent utterance that questioned the racial identity of his rival presidential nominee Kamala Harris, by which he wondered whether she identifies herself as Indian American, African American, or both. The outstanding diva made the contribution during a recent interview with The Guardian, that was published on September 21, 2024, and reported by some US media on September 22, 2024.
According to the reports, Janet Jackson asserted that she has heard that Kamala Harris is an Indian American only with no African ancestry. She added that while her mother is Indian, her father is Caucasian American and not of African descent as currently believed.
More precisely, during the interview the popular Rock With U hitmaker observed and we quote partly as follows:
"She's not black. That's what I have heard. That she's Indian"
The music megastar then continued and we quote partly again as thus:
"Her father's white. That's what I was told"
Well, from the foregoing, contrary to his hardcore critics, ex-President Trump's racial utterance about Kamala Harris may not be controversial after all. The utterance only needs to be clarified, and Janet Jackson has just correctly contributed to that.
Just because one doesn't agree, like, or understand something that has been said or purported does not automatically and effortlessly make that thing fake news, disinformation, or misinformation, without credible refutation evidence.
We must point out that the above 3 controversial concepts or narratives, i.e. fake news, disinformation, and misinformation are propagandist, and simplistic. Above all, they probably pose the greatest threat to advancement of knowledge and science in the world in the 21st century.
