Coco Gauff is world's highest-paid female tennis player for 2025, according to Forbes' magazine.
In the magazine's The World's Highest-Paid Tennis Players 2025 ranking published on August 22, 2025, Coco Gauff takes the 3rd position with total earnings of $37.2 million in the past year, i.e., the period spanning August 2024 - August 2025, behind two male players Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz who took the 2nd and 1st position with earnings of $47.3 million and $48.3 million respectively. Her total annual earnings are also the highest for women within all professional sports hence making her the world's highest-paid female athlete.

The tennis megastar's massive annual income accrue from both on-court earnings, i.e. prize cash, and off-court earnings, with the latter making the bulk of it. The Forbes' ranking shows that while her on-court earnings were $12.2 million, her off-court earnings were staggering $25 million.
Coco Gauff's massive off-court earnings are likely to have been driven by smart moves that capitalized on her 2023 and 2025 Grand Slam wins, and probably her beauty or what some sources like referring to as looks, her incredible physique, and other personal qualities, to enhance her marketability to brands seeking endorsement of their products/goods and/or services. So far, she has inked lucrative endorsement deals with numerous high profile global brands including New Balance, Carol's Daughter, and Bose, among others.
Coco Gauff is said to have recently started her own management firm, showing her desire to diversify further her business activities. That implies that off-court earnings may increase even more in the coming years.
