Billie Eilish Urges The Super Rich To Donate More To Charitable Causes

Billie Eilish has urged the super rich to address world's crucial issues through donating more to charitable causes. That was reported by some US media on October 31, 2025.

According to the reports, the Wildflower hitmaker made the powerful call when receiving the Music Innovator Award at the WSJ Magazine Innovator Awards 2025, in New York City, on October 29, 2025. In the call, she observed and we quote partly as follows.

"We're in a time right now where the world is really, really bad and dark and people need empathy and help more than, kind of, ever,...."

She continued and we quote partly one more time.

"....I'd say if you have money, it would be great to use it for good things, may be give it to some people that need it."

The Grammy and Oscar winning music megastar then dropped the bombshell, announcing right there that she intends to donate a staggering $11.5 million of the revenues that accrue from her ongoing Hit Me Hard and Soft Tour to charitable causes related to food equity, climate justice, and carbon pollution reduction.

After the announcement, Billie Eilish turned her attention on other attendees of the event, that included Meta's boss Mark Zuckerberg, telling them that there were some people there who had more money than herself. She particularly mentioned billionaires as the fellows she was talking about, and challenged or probably castigated them and we quote partly as thus.

"....if you're a billionaire, why are you billionaire? And no hate, but give your money away...."

For the award event, Billie Eilish was in a trendy Miu Miu outfit entailing dark blue belted midi skirt, and matching blazer over gray/sky blue top.
