Shakira has been honored by her homecity of Barrannquilla in Colombia, with a gigantic statue of herself, reported some media on December 28, 2023.

The statue of the legendary music diva was inaugurated by the city on December 26, 2023, say the reports. It is made of bronze and 6.5 meter tall, and seems to portray the Hips Don't Lie hitmaker's iconic sexy dancing moves.
