Meghan Markle the Duchess of Sussex has sued Britain's newspaper Mail On Sunday for publishing a private letter she wrote to her father. That was reported by some media on October 2, 2019.

The Duchess is said to be staunchly supported by her husband Prince Harry on this matter. According to the reports, Prince Harry has observed his wife has been subjected to senseless attacks from the British media in recent time, similar to those to his late mother Princess Diana. The latter died in car crash in Paris' Pont de I'Alma road tunnel in 1997. The car was been pursued by ruthless paparazzi when the accident occurred.
