Malaika Mihambo Wins Women's Long Jump Gold Medal In Doha

Malaika Mihambo on October 6, 2019 won the gold medal for women's long jump at the World Athletics Championships in Doha, with a massive jump of 7.30 m. With the victory jump, the African German Malaika Mihambo was only 0.06 m away from Joyner Kercee's 32 year old women's long jump record of 7.36 m. Joyner Kercee set the record in 1987.

Malaika Mihambo is currently world no.1 in women's long jump.
