Britney Spears Fails To End Dad’s Guardianship

Los Angeles County Superior Court in California on August 19, 2020 ruled against a request by music megastar Britney Spears (38) for an end of a long-standing legal arrangement that gives her father James P. Spears guardianship alias conservatorship of her personal and financial matters. That was reported by some media on August 23, 2020.

According to the reports, the court after a hearing, extended James P. Spears’ guardianship of his famous adult daughter until February 1, 2021.

James P. Spears, commonly known as Jamie Spears became legal guardian of Britney Spears in 2008, after the latter suffered some mental health issues.

Britney Spears who is one of the greatest music artists of all time, has an estimated net worth of between $59 – 60 million as of 2020 by several sources.
