Alexandra Burke Lambastes The Music Industry For Racism

As racial justice protests gains momentum worldwide following the barbaric murder of unarmed handcuffed African American George Floyd in Minneapolis, MN, by a racist American policeman of European descent, music artist and former X Factor winner Alexandra Burke has lambasted the music industry for racism. That was reported by some media on June 20, 2020.

According to the reports, the Caribbean British artist made the attack when narrating her experience in the entertainment industry on Instagram. She reportedly asserted that she was once told to bleach her skin in order to look whiter. She added that after winning the X Factor, she was advised that she would have to work 10 times harder than a Caucasian artist or what racists metaphorically call "white" artist, because she was of a person of African descent or what the racist metaphorically refer to as "black" person.
